Back Nine
The back nine at Fair Havens does not start out with the imposing bang of a fairway like number one. Instead, our back nine begins with our shortest fairway and it is often well underestimated. Our back nine is also home to some of our more woodsy fairways, it is often preferred in the summer simply because it may offer a little more shade.
The terrain on our back nine varies greatly, many times with perplexing hills that literally make it difficult to judge fairway length. Often our back nine is considered a more tedious nine to play than our front. Because of the shorter fairways more thought and more technical skill sometimes come in to play.
If you play both of our nines together you will find that an eighteen holes at Fair Havens provides fantastic variety. So often with other course you feel that you play the same par four over and over again. You won't get that here.
