Golf, like the measles, should be caught young, for, if postponed to riper years, the results may be serious. ~P.G. Wodehouse, A Mixed Threesome, 1922

Fairway Number Seven

Fairway Seven at Fair Havens Golf Course

Seven gives a nice place to swing away. Forgiving up the right side gives a lot of people who slice a chance to redeem themselves. Another of our raised greens, however, makes this a tough fairway to finish.

You want to go up to this tee box and really put your back in to this drive. Many have a shot at making it close enough to this green for an easier second shot. You want to approach this green from the front or right side as the back and left side fall to nasty drop offs. This large green is imposingly slanted so give yourself enough time to calculate before putting.
